HANGERS – in order to protect your clothing items we only accept plastic hangers. Find plastic hangers at Wal-Mart, Target, Dollar Stores. Retail plastic hangers are acceptable too.
STRING TAGS – Avery White Marking Tags Strung (size 1.75 x 1.093 inches) are required on each item to affix our barcode labels to. You can find these at Wal-Mart, office supply stores, the Rhea Lana Store or large quantities may be purchased from Amazon.
You’ll also need re-sealable bags (for shoes, small toys, etc…), masking tape, scotch tape, sharpie, and safety pins. For large quantities of quality safety pins we recommend ordering from Cleaners Supply .
If you would like to print your barcodes at home you’ll need adhesive address labels size 1” X 2 5/8” (30 up). We recommend ordering from Amazon Here. Please note: all labels printed at home MUST be printed in color.
The better they look, the better they sell! Please take time to wash and iron your clothes if necessary. Please check for stains, broken zippers, torn hemlines, etc.
We will be checking your items at the store and will not receive any item that is not in excellent condition.
Use small PLASTIC hangers for sizes 7 and below. Use larger PLASTIC hangers for sizes 8 and above. No metal hangers, please! Plastic and can be purchased at discount stores. This makes shopping more pleasant for everyone!
Please group items together so that they will equal a value of at least $4.00. They need to be pinned together as well so they don't get separated.
All pants must be clipped or pinned to a hanger, not folded over, as they tend to end up on the floor and shoppers want to see the entire pant to purchase.
Safety pin all sets and accessories securely together with pants hung on the back of the shirt at the waist. Both pieces need to be viewable without unpinning them.
Please only bring your LIKE-NEW shoes! Please follow these simple instructions when preparing your shoes. First, PLEASE PUT YOUR CONSIGNOR NUMBER AND PRICE ON A PIECE OF MASKING TAPE ON THE BOTTOM OF EACH SHOE. Then safety pin the string tag to a shoe lace or through the shoe eyelet. Put the shoes and string tag inside a ziploc bag. SHOES THAT ARE WORN, DIRTY OR HAVE SCUFF MARKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. It is also a great idea to ziptie shoes together so they do not get separated.
NEW THIS EVENT: No crib bedding sets, no crib bumpers (unless mesh) and no crib skirts.
We WILL accept crib sheets and bedding of all other sizes as long as it is appropriate for children.
Sheets can be placed on a hanger and use a safety pin to secure it. Use a safety pin to attach the string tag to the sheet. Please roll sleeping bags up neatly and pin the string tag to the sleeping bag.
Hang and pin blankets over hangers so that shoppers can see them. If they are small receiving blankets, group 2 or 3 together on a hanger and pin them together. Safety pin the tag to the blankets.
Items sell better when they are on a hanger rather than in a bag. Items such as bibs, burp cloths, cloth diapers and onesies should be placed on a hanger and secured with a safety pin. Also use a safety pin to attach the string tag to the item.
Bottles, rattles, socks, bows, etc group together appropriately in ziploc bags. Attach the string tag to the inside of the bag using a small piece of tape on the top part of the string tag.
Please do not tape your bags closed until after they have gone through consignor check in. It also helps to write your consignor number and info on the plastic bag with a permanent marker in case the tag comes off during the sale.
We will not accept used nipples or pacifiers - only new, in the package of these items.
Must be clean and in working order (batteries included.) Small parts must be bagged and attached to the main part very securely. If parts get separated, the item will not sell. Games should be taped closed. Books and DVD's do not need to be put in ziplock bags. If are you grouping them you can use plastic wrap, tape or place them in a ziplock bag. Attach the string tag to the inside of the bag using a small piece of tape at the top of the string tag. It is also good to write your consignor number and info on the ziploc bag with a Sharpie in case the tag comes off. DVD's and video games should not be taped shut until after they have been through consignor check in. Puzzles should be wrapped securely in clear Saran wrap to keep the pieces intact. All toys and games MUST include ALL pieces. TOYS NOT PACKAGED APPROPRIATELY WILL BE TURNED AWAY.
We are only able to accept stuffed animals that are battery operated or a name brand.
Large Little Tikes Toys and Furniture are in high demand! When tagging large toys it is best to also attach a piece of masking tape to the toy with your consignor information. This will enable us to sell your toy even if the tag comes off! We sell 95% of Toys, Furniture and Baby Equipment!
